Sweet Treat Saturday: Snickers cup cakes

I don’t know to many who don’t like the all time favorite Snickers.
I took this all time favorite candybar and turned into a sweet dessert.
With inspiration from a pinterest post I gathered my kids and their friends and
had a cupcake making party. I adjusted the recipe by using almond snickers
and using my own carmel. When I say they couldn’t cool down fast enough.
With a bit of inspiration, cooking skills and a classic candybar
I was able to create a fun snack that flew off the tray.

Cupcakes

1 ½ cup flour

1 ½ cup granulated sugar

1 tsp baking soda

2 cups of snickers chopped

1 tsp baking powder

1 cup cocoa powder

1 cup milk

2 eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup canola oil

Icing

1 cup of soft butter (2 sticks)

4 cups powdered sugar

2 tsp vanilla extract
