Soup for breakfast
Who says you can’t have soup for breakfast.
Well if you are of this world you know a lot of people say this.
So I say if not for Breakfast than brunch.
Once a month I host a live event
Called “Monday morning” on Facebook.
When I announced I planned to make breakfast soup
I got questionable looks.
Well in my mind because it is a live video.
Prior to doing this live I have
Been told plenty of times
Most people typically won’t have soup
For breakfast.
So why is it called
Breakfast soup.
It is very simple;
This soup is breakfast in a bowl.
Perfect for the fall season.
With the flu and everything going on in the world,
we need to keep our bodies mucus low.
The best way to do that is by eating brothy items.
Also the great thing about soup is you can put anything in it.
When I originally tried this soup
It had bacon, eggs and potatoes in it.
Mine has so much more going on.
For this recipe:
2 cups of milk or cream
2 cups of broth or stock
1 cup of cheese
½ cup of broccoli
½ cup cauliflower
1 cup of mushrooms
2 large white potatoes
1 large egg scrambled or fried
